A Private Embodiment Coaching Container

Our four phases of embodied exploration:

  • Befriend Your Dark Side

Learn to drop in to the body and see and feel all that is being held there below the surface of your conscious mind. Begin exploring how you connect to the elements and the Earth.

  • Find Your Rhythm

Attune to the rhythms and cycles of your body and of the Natural World around you. Engage in Ecosensitizing practices that will expand your awareness of your connection to place.

  • Unveil Your Magnetism

Recognize your desires and validate them in ways, learn to trust your “Pleasure Compass” to guide you towards greater purpose.

  • Expand Your Sensitivity

Allow the ripples of change that are happening inside to change how to present or participate in the world. Maybe you’ll start a new community, change professions, relocate or maybe you’ll engage more naturally and authentically with the communities you already have.

Your life changes as your desire changes.

Stop wondering if another cruise, another car, another income, another relationship will bring the meaningful living you crave and find where and how to belong now to yourself, to your community, and to your life-giving planet.

This is where

Personal Pleasure,

Purposeful Work,

and

Passionate Activism

All Play together.

The pleasure doesn’t end with you.

When you partner with your land, you expand the path towards a more pleasurable, more sustainable future for everyone else, too.

The Old Way of Being in the World Says:

“Homo Sapiens are superior to everything else and the earth is an object for us to use and abuse.”

This ideology fetishizes the autonomy of humans, their ingenuity, their dexterity with tools, their brilliance as creators and storytellers and masters of their own fate. It has been one of the most powerful and compelling stories that humans have told themselves over the several hundred years.

However, it has also led to trashing the planet, corrupting our communities with deceit and greed, and exposed us to epidemics of despair, loneliness, and mental malaise. Is there a better option?

An Even Older Way of Being in the World Says:

“Earth is Our Mother and humans are steward-siblings of all living things.”

This ideology holds all life as sacred and all beings as “people.” Rock people, Tree people, Winged people, Four-legged People. It celebrates the inter-connectedness of all things and our reliance on our Mother Earth for life.

However, this ideology has suffered from the aggressive assaults of colonization and from rampant consumerism. It struggles to survive in most modern, materialistic settings because when we have the opportunity to assuage our pain with immediate gratification, most of us don’t think about how or if that refracts into the despoiling of the Earth.

The former model is inherently short-sighted and lonely, but the latter has been overlooked or silenced for centuries and has not really been grasped by people living within a consumption-based society.

Is there another way? Can we reawaken to a dynamic relationship with our Earth? Can we find a way of being in the world that satisfies our cravings for self-importance and pleasure AND nourishes the Earth as a living being? Can we validate our human uniqueness and ability to affect change and fed our hunger for deep, honest connection and need for wonder?

There is Another Way of Being in the World. It sounds like this:

“We are neither masters of this world nor subjects,

we are

Co-creators

Dance partners

Lovers

We recognize ourselves as partners in this relationship.”

If you listen, you can hear it in the song of the waves. You can feel it in the caress of the breeze. You can smell it in the perfume of the flowers. You already know.

You were born for love like this.

Imagine…

…that you live in a place that fully delights you. You still ride the ups and downs of life, but as you do, there is an underlying sense of peace, meaning, and affection for each new day. You respond intuitively towards your bodies needs and sculpt for yourself a daily life that nourishes you spiritually and physically.

You feel connected to the environment around you and to the cycles of days, months, and seasons as they unfold. You are not separate from these, but a part of them and you sense your own body ebbing and flowing in synchrony with the Natural World. This leads to deep rest, sometimes and other times, to exultant, unexpected creativity. You receive all of these states as gifts.

Your relationships feature a full spectrum of feeling and growth as you connect with your loved ones and honor their unique gifts in the world. You commune with your ancestors and the communities around you, recognizing that you are not alone, no matter where you are and what you do.

You have goals and you work towards them, but your work matches your temperament and you don’t need to overextend. Your desires to enact change are being realized and you know that what you are doing matters.

You feel a deep sense of purpose and peace as you age. You honor youth and new beginnings, mentoring and nurturing the next generation with generosity and compassion. You also recognize the sanctity elderhood and death as intrinsic parts of our human experience.

Imagine this because…

this is what happens when you and your place begin your deep, enriching, creative partnership.

  • Your Circadian Rhythms adjust
  • Your hormones balance
  • Your nervous system regulates itself and others around you
  • Your consume less Social media

In other words, when you live in harmony with your place and, on a larger scale with the Natural World, you also find harmony with yourself and come to peace with the fact that you only ever have the present moment in which to live.
